Description
Each image in this Special edition has been produced using the platinum-palladium printing technique, a 19th-century photographic process known as platinotype. Each print is composed of platinum and palladium metallic particles deposited on and within the paper fibers, giving the image an extraordinary tonal richness and remarkable material depth.
The prints display a warm tonal quality, a completely matte surface, and a wide range of greys, with subtle nuances and countless tonal transitions. Due to the handcrafted nature of the process, each piece is unique and may present slight variations from the image reproduced in the book or shown on the website.
